An open network for all parcel delivery services in your town
Hastion is the neutral meta-platform for parcel lockers. We connect lockers from various operators and make them bookable for all parcel services, local businesses and members of the public. This ensures that existing infrastructure is utilised more effectively, rather than each provider setting up their own lockers.
You’ll be familiar with the situation in your own town
Parcel delivery services are setting up their own networks of collection points. These collection points are situated in limited spaces, often right next to one another, yet can only be used by a single provider. Even when networks accept multiple parcel delivery services, local businesses are left out. At the same time, delivery drivers have to visit the same address several times because nobody is at home.
What Hastion does for your local authority
Open existing stations
Parcel collection points operated by different providers can be found and booked via a single platform – for all parcel services and for all members of the public.
Reducing delivery traffic
Delivery on the first attempt to a designated collection point, as requested by the recipient, rather than making fruitless trips to the front door.
Organising public space
An open site serves several providers. This simplifies site planning in public spaces, without giving preference to any particular company.
Neutral and independent
Hastion does not operate any stations of its own and is not in competition with any other operator.
More than just parcels
Returns, reusable packaging, collection from local shops and hire services – available round the clock via the same collection points. Room for ideas and innovation in your local area.
Neighbourhoods and rural areas.
Where a station is not viable for a single provider, a shared site becomes economically viable.
How local authorities are supporting the development
Operators open up their networks in places where local authorities explicitly support this. Their contribution may be small, but it can make a big difference.
